Nick, as I read your post I wondered if you have had the opportunity to explore _The Rhetoric of Fiction_ by Wayne C. Booth. This book really has become a bridge for me between my comp and cw interests...I guess it's one of the first pieces of lit crit that made me a better writer so I tend to cling to Booth's creative and critical uses of rhetorical thinking. will
