Re: help in developing tutor training seminars

Hi Isabelle, and congratulations on your new position as Director of
your English Center.

If you want information about tutor training and other topics having
to do with administration and running a center, the publication I edit
may be of help, the Writing Lab Newsletter. It's a monthly
publication, with articles every month about all kinds of useful
topics. There's also an index both in hard copy and on disk to back
issues where you could search for all the materials on tutor
training. If you're interested in the Newsletter ($15/year), contact
our newsletter assistant about a subscription, the index, back issues,
etc:
	Mary Jo Turley
	turleymj@cc.purdue.edu
	765-494-7268

Mary Jo can also send you a resource sheet with lists of tutor
training manuals, etc.

Good luck on your new job!

Muriel Harris
