RE: Help--and WAC/writing centers connection
Group,
This is my first attempt to send a message to WCenter list since
TCU changed its e-mail system to Microsoft Exchange. Everything looks
so different (and I've yet to have any training) that I don't really
know what I'm doing. Will someone let me know if the message gets
through to the list? And now about WAC/writing centers--Dr. Pamela
Childers is a good source of information and expertise:

Thanks for your response--if you get the message!

Sonja,
The Pacific Coast Writing Centers Conference that I hosted at UP
last fall
had as its central theme the relationship(s) of Writing Centers
and WAC.
Pack rat that I am I still have a few programs with abstracts
and names
that could be useful for you.
Also Robert Barnett and Jacob Blumner have assembled an edited
collection
on WAC and Writing Centers that is in the process of finding a
publisher
or perhaps by now have a publisher. The authors of articles for
this
collection have a deadline of August 1, so your inquiry is very
well
timed.
I am interested in these areas also. Let me know what you find
in your
search.
