I teach in a two year college with approximately 1000 students. Therefore, I
am both tutor and administrator.

I get 50% releaase time (two courses) and tutor 20 hours per week. I usually
tutor closer to 25-30, however, because the center is busy.

Because we are a two year institution, it is difficult to get tutors with
enough writing experience. Plus, I love tutoring students.

My contract determines the 20 hours; I determine any hours beyond that.

Question: Are those of you at two year institutions able to recruit student
tutors with the appropriate skill level?
