expanded w c query

Dear List members:

Our school is going to be greatly expanding its writing center in the fall. 
One of the things we want to do, which we currently don't, is to provide 
interactive on-line assistance.  What methods do some of y'all use to 
provide this?  Any suggestions of whatever nature will be appreciated.  
We'll have a budget for software, of which we now have NONE, so I'd 
appreciate some ideas there, as well.  One of the functions of the 
newly-expanded center will be to facilitate the developmental English 
courses, and we also have a large ESL population here, but we'll be here to 
serve the entire university community.
