Re: Out of the ashes... (fwd)

Hi Stephen - I have resisted the temptation to jump into the fray
here but your comment has broken down my resistance and so I jump in
with both feet...amen! to your response. I find that I don't have a
lot of time to enter the marvelous discussions on wcentre but I have
learned and learned and LEARNED from each and every one of you on
this list. You are all generous to a fault and each time I have
asked a question or needed information, I have received much more
than I ever expected. I have avoided using capital letters myself in
the interest of saving time or for the sake of ease and never gave a
second thought to the fact that my reader or readers might be looking
at me askance or think that I was deliberately trying to be obscure
or even humourous. Should I suddenly start thinking otherwise? I
rebel against that! Let this be a list where we can be who we are
from one day to the next. Today I might capitalize everything and
tomorrow I might not and that is no reflection on my intelligence nor
on
my utmost respect for the folks on the list. We need to lighten up.
Regards, Barb

well, christy, it doesn't work for me. A flame is a flame and it stinks
even if you call it pedagogy.
