I must admit that I was a bit surprised to Christy's response to the english 
instructor.  One of the things I have enjoyed most about this list is the 
willingness by the subcribers to help each other in a very non-judgmental 
way.  I must agree with Dr. Phillabaum's comments because I, too, was under 
the impression that most e-mail is informal, and I don't really proofread 
mine very often.  I think the sharing of ideas is much more imortant than a 
few errors.  Sharon
