Christy:
Your response to the English instructor brings up an interesting question
about e-mail grammar/etiquette. I'm new to this whole e-mail thing, but my
impression so far has been that e-mail is a very informal forum; maybe I
got this impression from the plethora of errors see in my e-mails all the
time (and much of the e-mail I receive is from English professionals).
Therefore, I've tended not to proofread my e-mails very carefully. I'm
also curious: were the several errors in your message (one an error in
capitalization) inadvertant?
