For people interested in working with deaf students (at our campus 
that is the chosen term, often D/deaf), a 
wonderful resource person is Nora Shannon at Rochester Institute of 
Technology.  She ran an e-mail conference in spring of '96 for an 
organization called ELTOP, and is running an intensive institute this
