Oh-h-h-h yes I'm ready for summer reading!  I'm not waiting until I finish
these 30 student projects, either.  How about Kathleen Norris's _The
Cloister Walk_?  It's about spirituality and writing (the former may put
some people off I know, but in Norris's hands it isn't icky, and the
latter is right on target), in some ways kind of Annie Dillard-ish.
