So you're trying to remember what you actually wrote on that final exam you
took this morning, but you don't really have time to think about it too
much because you haven't started the paper that was due last week and for
which your three day extension expires tomorrow, and the sign on your
cubicle offering your entire CD collection to the person who will read your
students' final portfolios for you still hasn't gotten a single response
even though you know at least five perfectly qualified readers who share
your musical tastes have seen the sign, and you think when people mention
the good old days they're talking about the days where when you got sleepy
you went to sleep instead of making another pot of coffee, and let's not
even talk about the state of your preparations for your CW97 presentation,
and you've gone from looking forward to your vacation trip to looking
forward to the nap on the plane, and whenever your advisor offers you a job
lead, you ask whether they have an early retirement plan...
