Since so many of the Tuesday Cafe regulars will be enroute to the big
conference this week, those of us who have to stay behind will have our
traditional commiseration, affectionately known as the Sour Grapes Party,
in lieu of the usual Tuesday Cafe.

We're not all that sour at these parties, and newcomers are welcome to join
us for some chitchat and relaxation.  In fact, if you're going to be around
and you've been thinking about just trying to figure out how to get
connected to MediaMOO and join the Tuesday Cafe, come on in this
week--it'll be a great time to get some help getting oriented, since we
won't be focusing on any particular topic.

MediaMOO is at purple-crayon.media.mit.edu 8888; telnet to that address,
and, if you don't have a character, do `connect guest' to get a guest
character you can use for your session.  For more help, go to the Netoric
Project's home page and find our helpsheet; our pages are at

If you're going to the C's, good luck--we'll be expecting reports when you
get back.  If you can't go, join us at the Tuesday Cafe at 8:00 p.m. EST
