New Director of TCU Writing Center

Centaurs,

Hear Ye!  I'd like to announce what a few of you already know--that 
Texas Christian University's William L. Adams Writing Center will have a 
new director as of August 1.  We are thrilled that Dr. Jeannette 
Harris, a long-time and well-known presence in our field (though 
currently Chair of the Department of English at Southern Mississippi 
University) will be "returning home" and joining forces with us at 
TCU to propel our writing center into the new century.  Many of you will 
see her at 4C's in Phoenix; and some of you may have the opportunity to 
welcome her to SCWCA in Baton Rouge next month, since she has tentative plans 
to attend that conference as well.  SCWCA-ers may remember that Jeannette 
was keynote speaker for the first SCWCA conference (in Little Rock).  
Please help us to welcome her (back) to our region!
