Re: request for community college information

I worked at a community college in Seattle as a tutor the year after I
graduated from university. Our staff included students (mostly in their
second years of study), people like myself who had tutored before but
were not students at the college, and students at the University of
Washington or other universities. It worked well and I think because of
our extensive training, the students at the community college were great
tutors. I see the potential for problems, but with training I think
peer tutors at a comm. college is a good idea.
