esl writers

An intern is working with me this semester with the specific task of 
finding ways to work effectively with esl writers in a drop-in center. We 
know some things about working with such writers in appointment settings 
and do this, but many esl writers come to our drop-in hours forhelp.

I have the wonderful list of websites for esl writers posted earlier, and 
we are exploring these.  I also have a number of earlier posts on working 
with proofreading concerns, and we expect these to be useful.  However, we 
want to make sure we are touching all bases.

Any suggestions on materials, websites, people to contact, whatever would 
be most welcome.  Thanks for any help you can give.
