Well, Lynne, I'll tell you what it is:  if someone walks up to you to
shake hands, just pull on their fingers like you would milk a cow's
udders.  If the person looks only mildly alarmed, s/he is a member of the
club.

p.s.  The club of people with good sense and good heart doesn't have a
handshake--but they'll know each other anywhere.
