Hi-

I just read your e-mail about high school writing centers. I work in a very
good high school writing center. The women who started it wrote a boolk about
how they got started. I don't have the information with me right now but I
could send you the order form through snail mail if you give me your address
to send it. Hopefully this will give you one framework for getting started or
getting a picture of how ours works.

There are three components to it: a reading center, a writing center and a
computer lab (I run the computer lab).  It works very much hand in hand with
the English curriculum and works therefore very efficiently for the kids. I
can tell you more about it here if you want although I am having trouble
getting one my e-mail because of the dysfunctional America Online.
