Pins and breakfast

This will be my first CCCC (though I am a scarred veteran of too many
loathsome MLAs for my own good) and I'm looking forward to the pins, the
breakfast, and meeting everyone. I have two quick suggestions. When I
organized the SCWCA in Austin last year the Austin Convention and Visitors
Bureau had huge amounts of stuff they were willing to give to conference
registrants. I could chose between little Austin lapel pins and a packet
of bluebonnet seeds (I chose seeds). It's possible that we could get free
cactus pins or something like that just for the asking.

Also, if we run into any snags looking for breakfast place, I'll try to
help. The small group of restaurants for which my husband is controller
has three places in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, so I know plenty of people
who know the restaurant market there. We took Jeanne Simpson to the
original Z'Tejas in Austin when she was our guest at the SCWCA.

Oh well...I guess I'll return to the maddening task of trying to schedule
hours for my 62 consultants!
