RE: peer tutor training

Kate,
	I recently developed a tutor3-credit tutor training course here at 
my community college wc.  I use _The Bedford Guide.._ by Ryan as well as 
_The Subject Is Writing_ edited by Wendy Bishop (Boynton/cook) and _Lives 
On The Boundary_ by Mike Rose.  We read Rose's book early in the course and
, although it's not directly related to tutoring, we found ourselves 
returinng to issues from it throughout the semester.  Best of luck.
