Lady, thanks for letting us know when the special interest group will be. I am 
sad that the WCenter workshop is on Saturday afternoon, because my paper is on 
an "O" session....I guess that's O for "Oh well, maybe next year."

Will there be a breakfast? and is our symbol this year going to be a spearfish? 
Since I'm finally going to get to return to 4Cs, I _definitely_ want to come 
this year!

We're having an icestorm--the roads are just beginning to glaze up. If you want 
to imagine what South Carolinians drive like in these conditions, just imagine 
NASCAR racing in Zambonis. Sadistic, but fun! By tomorrow morning things should 
be absolutely terrible: just in time for registration, the composition placement 
exam, and my first tutor training meeting of the semester. Sigh.
