Elizabeth,

Your post provided an oasis of laughter in midst of an insanely frantic 
Friday-afternoon-before-Thanksgiving onslaught. One of my colleagues 
asked a peer tutor a few minutes ago, "When will all you kids get 
outta here?"  By Monday--if "notices" from my own students are any 
indication. Everyone's giving us the rush today, in order to get an 
early start for the Thanksgiving holidays.  Creative excuses for 
leaving early are pretty funny, too....
