      **************************************************************

Lately I (Tari) have been talking with a various teachers about
mud clients, and I thought it might be helpful to bring up the
subject at the cafe. While you can get a lot of info by
checking out part 2 of the rec.games.mud FAQs (there's a link
from the Netoric home page if you don't know where to find
them--recommended reading before the cafe!), it's also helpful
to talk to those who've installed and used the clients.

So join us this week and tell us what mud client(s) you use
for yourself and your classes. What features of your client
made you choose it? What's it missing? How easy is it to
install? How did you go about getting it set up for your
students--i.e., did your sysadmin put it on your system for
everyone to use, or did you have to have students get their
      own copies, or what?

And if you're using telnet to mud because you haven't yet
figured out what to do about a mud client, bring your
questions--clients make mudding a lot easier, and maybe we
can help you get started using one!

      See you at the Cafe!
