Re: internet access
We haven't had any real problems except the occasional peek at erotica and
new viruses. We have simply told the student that some people in the lab
found erotic pictures offensive and that we would appreciate them using
computers elsewhere for this. They have been very cooperative. Users
simply sign in as computer users.
Oh yes, We've had a couple of people download from the net which screwed up
a computer but we have a lab management disk whereby we reformat and
download the system again from the server. Very easy for us. We're looking
for a good virus detector. We're using thunderbyte right now and are
considering buying it.
