Glenda's post was fantastic, so I really don't have anything to add to it.

My question is whether or not your center is designed to serve *only* students
taking the English courses.  In other words, could a student come to the Center
with a history paper?  If not (in other words, if it is only for English), then
you might want to find out what you can about SUNY-Albany's Writing Center. 
They recently (3 years ago, maybe) switched from being a campus-wide center to
being an English majors-only center (a little different from yours, but still). 
That's an interesting opportunity.
