I Hope Ghussan Wins!

I just got my CCCC elections materials which were mailed a long time
ago (the mail carrier had delivered our mail to the neighbors, and
those neighbors just returned from their vacation :) ), and I saw
that writing center director and wcentaur Ghussan Greene is running
for office.  I haven't heard anything from her on wcenter for a
while, but, Ghussan, if you're lurking out there, I hope you win! 

It was heartening to see that a candidate for assistant chair,
Mildred Melendez, is a writing center coordinator.  Also, good ol'
writing center director Bob Connors is running for something, and so
is long-time writing center person Diana George. Remember when Jackie
Royster was program chair while she was a writing center director? 
Whooa!  It's getting harder and harder to feel marginalized in this
