hi joan and jeanne, great. we're reading from the same song sheet re: this TQM stuff. i agree that much of the talk at our retreat sounded just like the stuff i'd heard before in compositionist circles. thanks for your responses. i suppose i'm looking for something in WC practice that explicitly uses TQM principles. anyway, I'm hoping something shakes out. later, james werchan
