We have a mix of PowerMacs and Dos/Windows machines in our computer lab and are
*very* happy with the mix.

I guess I wonder which hybrid machine you have. I have a powermac 7100 at home
and wouldn't use it as a dual platform machine even though I love the computer.
I *think* the 8500 is the lowest in the series that actually has a split hard
drive. But I think you'd need enough RAM to make it function in the context
you're talking about. Hmmmm.
