Are you talking about Power Mac 8500s? We don't have any of these in the center
that are dual platform, but we have an 8500 with 32 mgs of RAM that I may
eventually convert. I was talking to one of the smarter guys for academic
computing today, and he says they're using three computers on campus this way
and haven't had any bugs yet. The computers get heavy use and have been up and
running for about 6 months. In fact one of them is running with two IP
addresses -- one for each platform. He's encouraging the university to start
using more of the dual platform macs, and he's one whose judgment I trust.

I'll be curious to see what other people say about this.
