unsubscribing from the list



Amanda, here's a recent message which has all the instructions for 
subscribing and unsubscribing.  If you'd like a writing center list with 
a little less traffic, you might subscribe to wcentr-l.  I don't have the 
subscription info handy, but I'm sure Eric Crump does.  (Your cue, Eric 
:)  Or you can turn off your regular wcenter subscription during those 
times that you're out of town.  Good luck dealing with your sysadmin!

We're having trouble here--again.  Seems like bad addresses are
clogging the system.  If you should stop receiving mail (but how

To subscribe to wcenter, send a message to

The message should read

	subscribe wcenter your name

To sign off, the message should read

	signoff wcenter

To see the mail, the message should read

	set wcenter mail ack

To temporarily stop mail, the message should read

	set wcenter mail postpone

To restart the mail, the message shold read

	set wcenter mail ack

The mess here at Texas Tech is frustrating--to us as we try to
figure out what is causing the problems; to you as you wonder
what's going on.
