help subscribing to writ-c

Hi all,

I've been trying to subscribe to writ-c by sending a message to 
listserv@uvm1.spcs.umn.edu, but the reply I received was that writ-c is 
an unknown list to that address.

Any ideas?  I enjoy WCenter, and I thought our fall consultants might 
could benefit by being a part of something similar.  Have any of you 
tried providing writ-c for your consultants?  Or could they benefit just 
as well from WCenter?  I know there was some discussion a while back 
about WCenter being "open" to consultants and peer tutors.
