Go ahead, Katie, and go paperless!
Sara's post mentioned that we collect information from students
electronically, but let me emphasize that we no longer use printed forms at
all. Not only does this save trees, but it saves an enormous amount of
time. Just two weeks ago we had a single-day high number of student vists:
65 in the eight hours we are open. I know this would not have been
possible under the old system.
Of course, you've got to devise a back-up system. We use a Zip drive.
