Hi Centaurs,

This is a general distress call for info. regarding the total number of
tutoring hours available (i.e., the actual hours tutors are on the
schedule) as opposed to the actual number of hours that we
can account for (i.e., the actual hours that tutors tutor.)  Over the
past two and one half years, we've run about 60%.  This figure includes
all tutors, whether volunteer or assigned, and does not take into
account any activities other than actual tutoring (other includes
such things as class presentations, material development, mini-
workshops, research, outreach, helpline, etc.)

Another related question regards drop-in hours since we are not
offering drop-in appointments as such.  Drop-in hours are not 
scheduled, but if a tutor has a no-show or simply doesn't have an 
appointment, that tutor will work with whoever walks through the door.
