Re: usage question



"I'll talk to her."  "Have a seat and we'll talk."  That's what I say.  My
prepositions may be inaccurate.  Infact, I may need to say, "I'll listen 
to her."

Even though I'm thoerectically in charge, this particular usage is not one
I'm interested in monitoring.  Sure, it may indicate attitudes.  Sometimes I
should say, "I'll hassle her."  But mostly, I think we "get" students in the
same way that we say "I'll get it" when the grammar line  rings.
