Joan, since we've had the student-generated reports for only a while, I
don't have answers to your most crucial questions. The report forms
we have are 2-part carbonless, so we do keep copies. And these are
not "our" records of the session; tutors fill out a record report separately,
with what I consider the main information being the last
blank--"recommendation given to client:."

I plan to examine our copies of the student reports once we have a good
stack of them--on one level for information as to how they articulate their
WC experience, then on another for how their descriptions
compare/contrast with what tutors write in their reports.

I know that our reports are not ideal for someone wanting "factual"
information about WC sessions; but I'm not convinced that any other
kinds of reports would necessarily be factual either. My main reason for
having them is to serve students and teachers who have interests in
sending/receiving such reports and to maintain visibility. Like you, I'll be
interested in looking at ours analytically to see if they are worthy (in
various ways).
