Subject: Invitation to Netoric's Tuesday Cafe for 2/6/96
Netoric news:
One of Netoric's regulars, Janet Cross, has suggested to us a modified plan
for the Cafe Repeats we tried to begin awhile back, and she's volunteered
to be the first volunteer. In the hope of offering an alternative to some
of those who can't make the Tuesday Cafe on Tuesdays, Janet will be hosting
Tuesday Cafe Repeats on Fridays at Noon EST for the next four weeks. At the
end of Janet's four weeks, we'll post asking for another volunteer to host
cafe repeats for a few weeks at time and day convenient for said volunteer.
We hope that this will give more people a chance to attend the cafe at
least sometimes. And, of course, those with the time and inclination are
welcome at both cafe sessions.
Many thanks to Janet Cross for the idea and for volunteering to host some
Cafe Repeats. And now on to this week's invitation:

**************************************************************
From time to time we devote a Tuesday Cafe to computer questions
and answers--those technical things you have to figure out either
for your classes or your own writing and research. This week's
cafe will again be devoted to such questions--we'll put aside
matters such as "what is the pedagogical value of this and that
application" and talk about those first steps--getting what
you want and getting it to work. No question is too big, too
small, or too silly--if we can't answer it, maybe we can at
least help you figure out where to look for your answers.
Come with questions, come with answers, come just to see what
new things you hear about.
See you at the Cafe!
