what to work on in a session
For what it's worth, I often begin a session by asking the student if
s/he has any problems with which s/he wants to deal first. If we can
tackle those,
I go on to things that s/he may not have noticed or of which s/he was
unaware. Very often the hidden problems relate to the known ones, and
including both in the dialogue allows us to concentrate on the student's
questions while expanding the playing field as it were.
