Re: turf problems

Hi, Carol. You sound kind of fed up with your job. I hope you stick with
WCenter for a while, however. It's a valuable resource both for
practical and for theoretical matters. I found it especially helpful
when I was starting the writing center here at UT and feeling both over
worked and isolated, because it offered easy access to other people
involved in writing center administration. Otherwise I had few ways of
communicating directly with people who were both experienced with and
interested in some of the problems I was facing.
It has one advantage over a f2f conversation: you can walk away
from it when you want or need to. Some days I get very involved in a
thread, but other times, when the conversation doesn't particularly
interest me, or when I'm busy or distracted, I just skim and delete.
	Take care,

Sara Kimball
