The Simplest TEchnology Has Defeated Me, Again

I'm afraid I've clogged your mailboxes with stupidity.  Sorry.  I've sent three
misbegotten and reported doomed messages (I"ve been reading Faulkner again.)
on our primitve VMs mail system.  My fingers have flown and I've worked myself
around its limitation.  In the process, I sent possibly three messages that 
were reported 8thrattled* to which I could only respond "God looks after
fools!"  Unfortunately, they have been showing up in my mail.

Lord, as if we all don't have enough incompetence to deal with on the first
day of the semester.  

Sigh.
