O.K., Jeanne.  Here it is:

The mission of the University Writing Center is:

	To assist writers, regardless of their status
	(faculty and students, undergraduate and graduate), 
	their level of proficiency, or their college, 
	during the various stages of their writing projects;

	To create a supportive environment in which writers and
	their readers can work effectively one-to-one, both 
	face-to-face as well as onscreen and online; and

	To train writing consultants to become knowledgeable, 
	effective readers of and responders to texts from various 
	disciplines.

I created a one-page handout which I've distributed during
presentations to various faculty groups on campus.  The mission
statement is also included on the University Writing Center web
page (http://english.ttu.edu/uwc/uwc.html).

Concerning a web page, I think one is in progress at another site, 
but it hasn't been announced yet.  Such a repository of info would 
be very helpful.
