Jo, thanks for offering to send your mission statement to those in need.  Like
Bob, I'm trying to write one for the center I direct.  I've collected the   
mission statements of the university here, all of the colleges, and all of the
departments (seems everyone has to write a mission statement here), but I
still haven't managed to draft mine.  A model from another writing center
would be very helpful.

Sometime . . . wouldn't it be great to have a collection of such resources
online?  We could all submit our mission statements, facts about the center,
training course syllabi, etc., and then send off a request to the computer
to receive those files.  I have no idea how this would be accomplished, of course.
Hey, maybe we do have something like that, and I just don't know how to
access it.
