James:

Get the book "Please Understand Me," by Keirsey. It has a smaller version
of the MBTI that is very accurate and is not restricted. Also, there is
nothing against giving the philosopy of MBTI to people and letting them
discuss it and figure out their own profile. About ten years ago anyone
could administer the MBTI--no qualifications necessary. Then the MBTI folks
began to realize how popular it was becoming and decided to make some money
on it--so they made this rule.
