sociolinguistics

Hi, all--

I'm thinking of proposing a sociolinguistics course here at Fairfield U, and
I'm looking for people who would be willing to talk with me (off-list, I'd
expect) about anything related to teaching sociolinguistics at the undergrad
level--everything from choosing readings/texts to joining discussion groups.

My background is in socio, but I've not kept up with the reading as well as I
had hoped, and I'm only beginning to think about how to approach teaching it. 
I'd love to hear from those of you out there who either have taught it or, like
me, are thinking of teaching it.
