"Tutor" and "Writer" seem to be the most comfortable for our students, and
our intitial fears that that this would create a hierarchical expert-novice
expectation seem unfounded.  When a student comes to the Writing Center
though, we ask, "Would you like a reader?" rather than use the word
"tutor."  Seems much friendlier, much more collaborative.
