Name changes often seem silly to me. This reaction is not
limited to any special area of endeavor. Unabashedly, I still refer
to certain persons as "stock brokers", when I hone them. If the
company likes the title "financial consultant", that's the company's
business. Not surprisingly, my order is taken just as readily,
regardless of what title or name is involved. Relatedly, shat is
really gained by a "salesperson" being called an "associate"?
Language should clarify, not confuse. Names should thus be
functional. The word "tutor" is certainly plain and to the point.
