I like your idea of a food/poetry reading party - sounds like great fun. We
usually give a party/reception for new faculty in the fall, and we always
have a fall writing contest which culminates in a celebration of the
winners at a costumes-optional Halloween party with food, copies of the
winning entries, and a screening of Lugosi's _DRacula_. We get a fair re-
presentation of faculty, students, and administrators, as well as a
photographer from the campus paper. You're right. This kind of activity goes a long way toward making the campus aware of what we do.
