Jeanne, Jim, et al,

We've been providing coffee, muffins, snacks for the last five years now.
Writing Center business has tripled - who says food and writing don't go
together? Students fight writers' block with a ten minute tea break and
find new inspiration. Administrators get to see our action-packed opera-
tion when they stop by for a sugar fix. Faculty actually meet their
students here and talk about writing! Since we sell the stuff, we also
make anough money to truck off to various conferences. It's been a fair
amount of work, but we wouldn't give up our "food service" for the
world (even though various tutors have had dreams about being waiters/
waitresses - waitpeople
