My questions about OWL are so basic probably anyone out there can answer 
except me.  Our campus has a wonderful computer service providing almost 
all of us, faculty and students, with access to e-mail, internet, gopher, 
etc.  I would like to make use of this with some sort of electronic 
writing center for our campus.  Is that what OWL is?  I think I'm getting 
the message here, but I'm having to guess at it.  I don't know what OWL 
is.  I don't know if it involves a greater network than just one campus.  
I did read here that Mickey's center offers OWL and that we might 
download some handouts from that.  But I don't know the who, what, where, 
why, or how.  If I'm too far behind, could someone just suggest a book.  
I'm getting Internet for Dummies in my stocking...  Thanks,  Ann.
