Oh, now we've done it!  We've got ED talking about the politics of
"autonomous individuality."  Neither my brain nor my electronic 
mailbox can handle this anymore.  I agree with Jeanne--get some
holiday spirit---NOW!!!

I want all you touchy-feely, community-sensitive types (including
me) to line up on one side of this virtual space and I want all you
things-have-gotta-change, flaming no-flamers to line up on the other
side.  Now, this is going to be difficult for some people, but I want
you to start pelting each other with Christmas cookies and fudge--but
you've got to keep your mouths open.  I think we're all suffering 
from sugar lows and caffiene nerves.  We need to start throwing some-
thing that does less harm than words do.

(My apologies to Dr. Holderer--got it right, didn't I, Bob?---for
interrupting his work.  You also have my sympathies for having to
work with such a demanding, intrusive computer-beast.  Sometimes
computers are like family--annoying as hell, but how could we live
without them?)
