RE: Theresa's query -- I forgot to say that I'm tenure track -- as 
Jeanne's post just reminds us, there are, often, conflicting 
expectations (mainly of TIME/PRIORITIES. However -- today I'm feeling 
as though it's all worth while -- a very positive recommendation for 
tenure and promotion from my committee (of course it still has to go 
on up the ladder, but I'm just so relieved that at this most 
personally meaningful level the WC work and the teaching are seen as 
a whole -- and a wholel that counts!
