Re: Identity crisis

I am an assistant professor of English, non-tenured at the moment, but
the department chair is lobbying to get my status changed to tenure
track. I was part of the English faculty before I became director of
The Write Site. I still teach one course a quarter (two spring) for that
department. I report to the dean of arts and humanities in my director
position. The writing center is not affiliated administratively with the
English department at all.
